At Underwater Explorer, we give you life, beach, breath, fun and relaxation.
Our rustic camp operates in beautiful Ponta do Oura, Mozambique.
We have basic beach casetas, 2 luxury en-suite beach facing rooms, the UWE apartment and the Seaview house.
Seaview En-Suite
Enjoy waking up to a glorious sunrise over the sea, a step away from the beach.
The Seaview En-Suite Double units are furnished with 1 double bed as standard, En-suite consists of a toilet, wash basin & large shower.
The Seaview En-Suite Family unit has 2 bedrooms; 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 singles as standard. By prior arrangement, we can swap the 2 single beds for a double bed and add an additional single or bunk bed.
Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.
Bring your own mattress protector (always a good idea anywhere in Mozambique).
Communal kitchen facilities are available.
Ocean View En-Suite
Enjoy your own chalet, a step away from the beach.
Our luxury rooms can sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and have their own en- suite bathroom.
Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.
Bring your own mattress protector (always a good idea anywhere in Mozambique).
Communal kitchen facilities are available.
Beach Casetas
The basic reed rooms can sleep between 2 and 4 people.

Seaview House
The Underwater Explorer Seaview House is a 2-bedroom House situated on the hill top just outside the Ponta do Ouro Beach Campsite behind the Underwater Explorer Booking Centre.
This private hilltop house has a large open veranda perfect for entertaining your family and friends, with stunning views and ocean sea breezes. It is perfect for groups of 4 – 6 people, The large main room has a king size bed (or two singles) and a bunk bed, so can sleep up to 4 guests or one family. The second bedroom can also accommodate two singles or one king size bed.
The entire house is fully air-conditioned. The kitchen is equipped with a gas-top stove, microwave and fridge/freezer.
The bathroom offers a shower, toilet and basin. Guests are asked to please bring their own beach and bath towels.
